For instance, if you spend more time on your screen due to your job, you will want to get a standing desk so you don’t spend consecutive hours in a sitting position. You will also want to make it a point to take frequent breaks from screen time.

You could implement the 20/20 rule, which is all about taking a twenty-second break after twenty minutes of screen time. Regular breaks will allow your mind and eyes to relax for some time before you resume work.

When it comes to improving your health, you will want to practice mindfulness regarding what you place in your body. You might have heard the saying before – you are what you eat. So, make sure to consume more veggies and fruits.

Also, try to prepare all meals at home – avoid processed food and also drink loads of water. Did you know that the human body is 60% water? We need water to function better – not only physically but also mentally.

So, improving your health should also be at the top of your New Year’s resolutions list.

Practice Good Sleep Hygiene

The sad truth is that we live in a world where we are expected to push ourselves, do more, and be more. Now, while there is absolutely nothing wrong with pushing one’s boundaries, taking care of one’s health and getting enough sleep is crucial.

When it comes to practicing good sleep hygiene, you would want to make it a point to set the alarm to go to bed early. And the key to having a productive day is to get up earlier the next morning as well. Another tip that you will want to follow is to switch off all tech gadgets at least one hour before bedtime.

Doing so will allow your mind to produce melatonin, which will help you sleep better.
