You might be skilled with melee weapons or throwables, but in ARC Raiders, the firearm in your hands is always your most dependable answer to sudden threats. From the muzzle to the underbarrel, from the magazine to the stock, you’ll need to fine-tune every slot to find the perfect feel.
That’s why IGGM has broken down the best and worst attachments for every gun after Riven Tides update, so you can make the optimal choices.
Ferro
- Recommended: Silencer II, Lightweight Stock
- Avoid: Compensator, Muzzle Brake, all Type III Grips, Kinetic Converter
You don’t need to worry about recoil or dispersion on Ferro – you have to manually reload after every single shot, anyway. Those stats simply don’t matter. That leaves two meaningful muzzle mods: Extended Barrel and Silencer.
Given the weapon durability changes, you’re better off with Silencer II instead of Type III. Otherwise, your Ferro will hit zero durability after just a few shots.
All underbarrel mods perform mediocrely on Ferro. Recoil reduction is useless, and they hurt your ADS speed.
Stock mods are pointless too – they boost rate of fire, but on a gun that needs reloading after each round, fire rate means nothing. So Lightweight Stock is your only real choice.
Rattler
- Recommended: Compensator II/III, Angled Grip II, Padded Stock
- Avoid: Nothing particularly bad
Rattler already has decent recoil control – it needs help with dispersion instead. For the muzzle, go with the recommended Compensator. If you’re worried about durability, pick Compensator II.
For the underbarrel, Angled Grip II is the best. It tames the harder-to-control horizontal recoil without affecting your ADS speed. Vertical recoil is easy to manage – just pull down while firing.
Common-quality weapons like Rattler have become especially fragile after update. If you need to upgrade it or require higher-tier gear, IGGM has you covered. Here you can buy ARC Raiders blueprints, weapons, attachments, or materials – so you’ll always head out fully equipped.

Stitcher
- Recommended: Compensator II/III, Angled Grip III, Extended Light Mag III, Buffer Stock
- Avoid: Extended Barrel
Stitcher’s biggest needs are horizontal recoil control and dispersion control. For the muzzle, either Compensator or Muzzle Brake works – but Compensator is better for fixing dispersion.
Underbarrel-wise, both Horizontal Grip and Angled Grip are reliable. For the stock, go with Buffer Stock. It slightly reduces ADS speed, but Stitcher’s base handling and agility are already excellent.
Kettle
- Recommended: Compensator II/III, Horizontal Grip / Angled Grip III, Extended Light Mag III, Buffer Stock
- Avoid: Kinetic Converter
Kettle needs help with both recoil and dispersion, and its dispersion problem is more severe – so choose Compensator II or Compensator III.
For the underbarrel, if you want the best feel on Kettle, Horizontal Grip might be the ultimate choice. Padded Stock comes with an ADS penalty, but it makes the whole weapon feel very stable and accurate.
Anvil
- Recommended: Silencer, Extended Barrel
- Avoid: Anvil Splitter
Anvil’s best options are Silencer and Extended Barrel. Extended Barrel suits players who want more precision at longer ranges, while Silencer keeps your shots quiet.
Another signature attachment for Anvil is Anvil Splitter – it turns your weapon into a mini shotgun, firing four small pellets per shot. But ARC Raiders legendary blueprints aren’t easy to find, so don’t feel forced to chase it.
Arpeggio
- Recommended: Compensator III, Horizontal Grip / Angled Grip II, Extended Medium Mag III, Stable Stock
- Avoid: Kinetic Converter
Arpeggio desperately needs dispersion control. Using Muzzle Brake III will make your spread go completely wild during rapid fire – Compensator III is more precise and controllable.
Underbarrel, both Horizontal Grip and Angled Grip work – it depends on which recoil pattern you’re more comfortable with. For the stock, if you want to fire quickly, Stable Stock is the better choice.
Burletta
- Recommended: Compensator III/II, Extended Light Mag III
- Avoid: Nothing
When you tap-fire rapidly, Burletta’s dispersion becomes a serious issue – its recoil is actually quite manageable. So for the muzzle, either Silencer or Compensator.
Burletta can take a magazine attachment – Extended Light Mag III is the obvious pick, as it gives the most extra rounds with no downsides.
IL Toro
- Recommended: Shotgun Choke III, Extended Shotgun Mag III, Lightweight Stock
- Avoid: Stable Stock, Buffer Stock
This green beast has only two muzzle choices: Shotgun Silencer or Shotgun Choke II – either reduce noise or improve ranged punch.
Underbarrel attachments can reduce recoil, but they’re not very useful on IL Toro. As for the stock, pick Lightweight Stock – it gives better handling and faster ADS speed.
Torrente
- Recommended: Compensator III, Extended Medium Mag III, Kinetic Converter
- Avoid: Extended Barrel, Muzzle Brake, Stable Stock, Buffer Stock
Torrente needs some dispersion control – reducing noise or increasing range isn’t very important, so go with Compensator III.
For the stock, Buffer Stock or Stable Stock are okay, but Kinetic Converter is a better choice – though you might not find that legendary attachment.
Renegade
- Recommended: Silencer II, Stable Stock III
- Avoid: Compensator, Muzzle Brake, Kinetic Converter
Neither Compensator nor Muzzle Brake are advisable – they don’t offer much value at medium ranges. So, choose a Silencer.
For Renegade, the dispersion recovery time reduction from Stable Stock III is critical. The accuracy cone shrinks quickly after each shot, and no other stock comes close.
Osprey
- Recommended: Silencer II, Lightweight Stock
- Avoid: Compensator, Muzzle Brake, all underbarrel attachments (useless), Kinetic Converter
Osprey also needs to be racked after each shot, so improving dispersion or recoil is pointless. Go with Extended Barrel or Silencer.
Currently, attachments don’t speed up or slow down Osprey’s ADS time – same for stocks. The recoil reduction they offer is useless anyway, so you can just mount a barrel to save some ARC Raiders items.
Venator
- Recommended: Angled Grip II, Extended Medium Mag III
- Avoid: Nothing particularly bad
The only thing Venator needs help with is horizontal recoil. Vertical recoil is perfectly fine – it barely climbs at all when firing, but it does wobble left and right if you spam the trigger. So pick Horizontal Grip or Angled Grip III to tame the horizontal bounce. Angled Grip II offers a different effect but has no ADS penalty.
Canto
- Recommended: Compensator III, Horizontal Grip, Extended Medium Mag III, Buffer Stock
- Avoid: Extended Barrel, Silencer
Canto cares about only two things: dispersion and recoil. So the final muzzle choice comes down to Compensator III or Muzzle Brake III.
Underbarrel, Canto needs help with both vertical and horizontal recoil – Horizontal Grip is clearly the best for feel. For the stock, Buffer Stock is the overall pick. It makes Canto very controllable and precise.
Bettina
- Recommended: Compensator III, Horizontal Grip, Buffer Stock
- Avoid: Vertical Grip (feels worse)
If you’re a burst-fire player, Extended Barrel and Silencer are fine. But if you like to hold down the trigger, go with Compensator III — it effectively fixes dispersion.
Underbarrel and stock don’t have standout options – Buffer Stock and Vertical Grip are only slightly better in feel.
Bobcat
- Recommended: Compensator III, Horizontal Grip / Angled Grip III, Extended Light Mag III, Buffer Stock
- Avoid: Extended Barrel
Bobcat needs either recoil or dispersion control. Since it’s an epic-quality ARC Raiders weapon, pick Compensator III.
Underbarrel, Horizontal Grip and Angled Grip III are evenly matched. For the stock, Buffer Stock or Stable Stock III — both turn the gun into a precise laser. Choose whichever you prefer.
Hullcracker
- Recommended: Kinetic Converter, Lightweight Stock
- Avoid: All Type III Grips
Recoil on Hullcracker is truly irrelevant – you don’t need any underbarrel attachments. For the stock, go with Lightweight Stock or Kinetic Converter – neither has any real downside.
Tempest
- Recommended: Compensator III, Horizontal Grip, Extended Magazine
- Avoid: Extended Barrel
Tempest is a medium-range weapon with plenty of built-in recoil control. Muzzle Brake III still makes the handling a bit smoother, but Compensator III does a better job controlling spread. Get extra recoil control from your underbarrel – for example, Horizontal Grip.
Vulcano
- Recommended: Shotgun Choke III, Horizontal Grip, Buffer Stock
- Avoid: Kinetic Converter
Vulcano shotgun fires fast – the muzzle choice remains Shotgun Choke III. Horizontal Grip II prevents Vulcano from bouncing too much left and right during rapid tapping.
For the stock, anything works except Kinetic Converter, which makes the feel weird – none of the others have any real flaws.
Aphelion
- Recommended: Horizontal Grip, Stable Stock III
- Avoid: Kinetic Converter
Aphelion is one of the legendary ARC Raiders weapons. Its default recoil is controllable, so any underbarrel is fine. For the stock, Kinetic Converter again performs poorly – you’re better off with other options. Stable Stock III makes recoil control even more stable.
That wraps up all of IGGM’s recommendations for ARC Raiders weapon attachment loadouts. Use the above as a reference to fine-tune your gear. Just remember to consider durability when building lower-quality weapons.
